Professional House Removals for Local and Long-Distance Moves

Eipic Removals in mid Wales in the valleys on a cross channel house move from Northern Ire

Moving house in Northern Ireland should not be a day you dread. We are Eipic Removals and Storage, a family-run house removal company based at Cookstown Enterprise Centre in Mid Ulster, and we have built our service around the moves that matter to real households. That covers a short hop across town, a full relocation between counties, and the long-distance and cross-channel work that bigger life changes bring.

For local moves, our crews know the lanes, the parking quirks and the access points across Cookstown, Belfast, Lisburn, Derry, Newry, Armagh, Ballymena and the rest of the Northern Ireland map. For longer routes, we plan the run end to end, including all-Ireland moves into the Republic and full cross-channel moves to England, Scotland or Wales. The brief stays the same on every job: turn up on time, treat the home and the contents with care, and leave you settled in by the end of the day.

What Is Included in Our House Removals Service

Every house move we quote is an all-in price, agreed up front, with no charge for travel time anywhere in Northern Ireland. That price covers:

A trained crew who load, transport and unload your belongings.

Modern, properly maintained vehicles sized to your move, from man-with-a-van jobs through to full lorry loads.

Careful handling of furniture and household items, with blankets, straps and protective coverings used as standard.

Move-day logistics, including parking checks, lift bookings, key collection windows and any access arrangements your old or new home needs.

Optional add-ons such as packing, dismantling and reassembly, and short-term or long-term storage, priced as a clear extra rather than a hidden charge.

If something on your list does not fit a standard removals job, tell us at quote stage. We would rather build it into the price than discover it on the day.

House Moves of Different Sizes

We quote and crew for the full range of household moves.

Smaller homes and flats. One or two bedroom moves are usually a half-day job for a two-person crew and a single van. Common in Cookstown, Belfast city centre and student towns like Coleraine.

Family homes. Three and four bedroom houses across Mid Ulster, Antrim, Down and Armagh, where loft rooms, garages and outbuildings add to the volume. We size the crew and vehicle to suit, and most of these wrap inside a single working day.

Larger and rural properties. Five-bedroom country homes, farmhouses and listed buildings. These need more crew, more vehicle capacity and a careful eye on access. Where a long driveway, narrow gateway or restricted street will not take a full lorry, we plan a shuttle from a smaller van.

Partial household moves. If you only need part of the contents shifted, for example a relative moving in with family or a child setting up a first home, we quote on the partial load rather than the full house.

Extra Help for a Smoother House Move

The crew can do more than load a van. The optional services below are the ones our customers add most often.

Packing and unpacking. We bring boxes, tape, paper and bubble wrap, pack rooms in the order you want them unpacked at the other end, and label everything by destination room. Useful when work, school runs or the sale chain leaves you no spare time.

Furniture dismantling and reassembly. Beds, wardrobes, dining tables, garden furniture and flat-pack items taken apart at the old house and rebuilt at the new one. The crew arrive with the right tools.

Storage during a move. Indoor warehouse storage, secure 10ft and 20ft containers and business document storage, all from our Cookstown facility. Useful when sale and purchase dates do not line up, or when you need to clear the old house before the new one is ready.

Why Use a Professional House Removal Company

A DIY move with a hire van and a few willing friends works for a one-room flat. For anything bigger, the maths usually points the other way once you add up van hire, fuel, time off work, the risk of damage to furniture or to the property, and the chance of going back for a second load.

Eipic gives you a single point of contact from the first quote through to the final box. The same family-run team that survey your house also crew the move. We protect floors and door frames as standard, we are insured for goods in transit and hire and reward, and we stay on the job until it is finished. Our customers include household names that trust us with sensitive moves, including the National Trust, SVP and Women's Aid, alongside thousands of family moves across Northern Ireland.

You get back the time, the energy and the back muscles. We take the lifting.

FAQs

Q: How far in advance should I book a house removal in Northern Ireland?

A: Two to four weeks ahead is the sweet spot for most house moves, and four to six weeks for moves at the end of a month or in the school summer holidays. We will hold a date with a deposit and finalise the survey closer to the day. Last-minute moves are possible, just call the office and we will see what we can do.

Q: Do you offer packing as part of a house move?

A: Yes. We can pack the full house, just the kitchen and breakables, or only the items you would rather not handle. We bring all materials, label everything by destination room and unpack at the other end if you want us to.

Q: Can you store furniture before delivery?

A: Yes. We have indoor warehouse storage, secure 10ft and 20ft containers and business document storage at our Cookstown facility, and we can collect, store and re-deliver as a single fixed-price package. Useful when your sale and purchase dates do not line up.

Q: Do you handle long-distance house moves?

A: Yes. We cover the full Northern Ireland map, all-Ireland moves into the Republic, and cross-channel moves to England, Scotland and Wales. We plan the route end to end and quote one all-in price for the job.

Q: Can you help with large or bulky furniture?

A: Yes. Pianos, large wardrobes, oversized sofas, gym equipment and outdoor items are all part of the day job. Tell us what is moving when you book the survey so the crew turns up with the right vehicle, the right team size and the right kit.
