3. How we get it
Directly from you (web forms, calls, in-person), estate agents or referrers with your consent, and publicly available sources (for business customers only).

4. Why we use your data (lawful bases)

  • To provide our services & contract performance (quotes, surveys, removals, packing, storage, billing, customer service).

  • Legitimate interests (run our business, protect property, prevent fraud, training/quality, network & information security, defending claims).

  • Legal obligations (tax/accounting, health & safety, insurance regulatory).

  • Consent (optional marketing by email/SMS; cookies where required). You can withdraw consent anytime.

You also have rights re: automated decisions (we don’t do automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects). Learn more via UK Government/ICO guidance.

10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (access controls, encryption in transit where possible, role-based access, staff training, vendor due diligence). No system is perfect, but we work to the UK GDPR data-protection principles (lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity & confidentiality, accountability).

11. ADR & complaints
If a dispute is escalated to an ADR body (e.g., FHIO), we’ll share only necessary data about your move/claim to resolve the complaint. You can complain to the ICO at any time.
